DAVE PHILLIPS
CEO/CFO
David has over 15 years in Finance, with an additional 20 years in Information Technology. He has experience as a corporate director, CFO of a Private Investment Fund Manager, a fractional CFO Consultant, and is a former Founder, Entrepreneur and CEO of a successful eCommerce company. David has Mergers & Acquisition experience, recently holding a critical Finance role in a $40 Billion+ mega-merger. David is also a Certified Financial Planning and Analysis professional and a CPA candidate.
David holds his bachelor’s degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University, a Master of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from University of Houston-Victoria, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Strayer University. With over 35 years of career experience in IT, Finance, eCommerce, early-stage companies and publicly held Fortune 100 companies, David brings a breadth of experience to his role as CEO & CFO of the Managing General Partner, Crosspoint One Capital LLC.
David resides with his wife and three children in Powder Springs, Georgia.
David has over 10 years of experience investing in real estate in the residential and commercial markets. He was co-founder and operator of a successful real estate investment company, Sillman Home Buyers, from 2015 to 2021. With extensive experience in custom home construction and remodeling, David brings a seasoned perspective to real estate deals in which scope-of-work analysis of a property is critical to the decision-making process.
He currently manages his own portfolio of residential and commercial properties including warehousing, multi-family housing, self-storage facilities, single family rentals and owner-financing notes across four states. David is credited as a Certified Affordable Housing Provider, Certified Wealth Management Specialist and has helped over 200 families find housing through the programs he provides. David and his wife Samantha have an infant daughter and enjoy being an active part of their community in Spruce Pine, North Carolina.

He’s invested in single-family homes, apartments, hotels, developed subdivisions and built and renovated homes and apartments. Each of these experiences has given him a proving ground for the most cutting-edge concepts in real estate today.
He’s widely known as a creative financing genius with his deal structuring concepts. Being a teacher at heart he enjoys sharing his discoveries with others. He has served the industry in many volunteer positions such as past President and designated lifetime member of the Georgia Real Estate Investors Association, the world’s largest real estate investor group. He is also founding President of the National Real Estate Investors Association, which serves as the umbrella association of local investor groups.
